On the last day of August 2021 I spoke with the poet Kelli Russell Agodon via Zoom. Kelli Russell Agodon is an award-winning poet, writer, and editor from the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in Seattle, Kelli was educated at the University of Washington and Pacific Lutheran University's Rainier Writing Workshop where she received her Master of Fine Arts in creative writing.
Kelli Russell Agodon, a bi/queer poet from the Pacific Northwest, authored Dialogues with Rising Tides (Copper Canyon Press), a Washington State Book Award finalist and Eric Hoffer Grand Prize in Poetry shortlisted. With four other poetry books, three craft books, and a poetry anthology, she cofounded Two Sylvias Press and teaches at Pacific.
